Deputy General Manager - Portfolio Support (HK)

  • Ensure daily operation of HK properties fully compliance with statutory requirement; house rules and relevant property management rules / regulation & ordinance.
  • Build up professional property management team to provide professional customer-centric management services to internal and external customers.
  • Establish an effective property management system for delivery of good and professional property management services among the operating properties in HK including but not limited to services standard & work flow alignment; Capex & Opex control & budget allocation; work procurement (tender & RFQ), and Facility Management System data analysis to improve operation effective & efficiency etc.
  • Develop strategies to achieve Corporate goals.  Analyze market competition in the field; identify external threats / potential threats and opportunities which may affect property management service adversely, and to adapt strategies for changing conditions.
  • Review and monitor property management operation budget and spending (Capex & Opex included).
  • Develop realistic plan after objectives & goal setting; budget and resources review and planned works prioritization.
  • Lead and handle joint tender procurement with property management teams and Central Procurement Dept.
  • Formulate & update property management operating manual; working Instruction and standard operating procedure update. 
  • Set up guideline and in house rules (implementation included) for operation needs, and to commit the best practices identified in the property management manual / handbook.
  • Conduct regular audit of property management service and compliance.
  • Act as a coach-managing property management teams and to grow talents among teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Property Management / Facility Management field or relevant disciplines, and over 15 years of commercial and residential estate experience, and at least over 5 years in leading property management team experience.
  • Member of CIH, HKIH, HKIS, or RICS; and a holder of PMP (Tier 1) Licence is a MUST.
  • Professional in building operations and estate management services provided under a DMC or the BMO, work experience with multi-DMC environment would be an advantage.
  • Excellent in spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua.
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific / technical issues, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including PPT, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong leadership skill.  Able to display passion and optimism; inspires respect and trust; care people and provide vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates.
  • Detail-minded team player, with strong customer and compliance focus.
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Read importance of teamwork; diversity; integrity; health & safety and care people, and able to consolidate such factors into operation.
  • Able to solve practical problems and dealing with scenario management.
  • Good adaptability.  Able to adapt the change in the work environment; manage competing demand; change approach to best fit the situation to achieve the best delivery.
  • Able to deal with crisis and unexpected events.
