The Company has not recognized any deferred income for the
guarantees given in respect of borrowings and other bank facilities for
subsidiaries as their fair value cannot be reliably measured and their
transaction price was $Nil (2011: $Nil).
28 COMMITMENTS
(a) At the end of the reporting period, capital commitments not
provided for in the financial statements were as follows:
The above commitments include mainly the land costs and construction
related costs to be incurred in respect of the Group’s development of
its investment properties in various cities in mainland China.
(b) The Group leases certain properties under non-cancellable
operating leases expiring within ten years. Certain leases include
contingent rentals calculated with reference to revenue from
the properties. At the end of the reporting period, total future
minimum lease payments were as follows:
