Hang Lung Properties extends our warmest congratulations to Professor Hong Wang, a member of our Hang Lung Mathematics Awards (HLMA) Scientific Committee, on winning the 2026 Fields Medal—mathematics' highest honor. Professor Wang becomes the first female Chinese national to receive the award, recognized for her breakthrough work in harmonic analysis and geometric measure theory that resolved long-standing mathematical conjectures.

We are proud of Professor Wang’s extraordinary milestone and deeply grateful for her contributions to our HLMA Scientific Committee since 2023.
