The Hang Lung Scholarship and Development Donation for the Visually Impaired

We partnered with the Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired for the establishment of “The Hang Lung Scholarship and Development Donation for the Visually Impaired” in February 2023.  Proceeds from the HK$ 30 million fund will be used every year for scholarships and learning subsidies to support the holistic development of outstanding students and graduates of Ebenezer in pursuing their studies and career development.

The Scholarship Selection Panel consists of management of Hang Lung and representatives from Ebenezer. The outstanding visually impaired youths will be selected based on their academic performance, professional development, social commitment, and other outstanding achievements. A total of 15 recipients were chosen for the inaugural Scholarship.

Walking Through Arts with Kids Program

To help underprivileged children with special education needs (SEN) gain a broader experience of life, we partnered with St. James’ Settlement to introduce the “Walking Through Arts with Kids” program in 2021, during which our volunteers contributed 200 service hours to help children experience various art forms, including dance therapy and arts and crafts workshops.

In 2022, with the addition of sustainability elements to the program, it is hoped that SEN students’ awareness of environmental protection will be enhanced while opening their eyes to the world.
