We’re pleased to announce that the major installation and lifting of the footbridge segments have been completed for our newest footbridge in the Kowloon East district, connecting Amoy Plaza and the East Kowloon Cultural Centre. This community investment project, commemorating our 65th anniversary this year, reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing connectivity of the community we serve.

Expected completion in mid-2026, the Amoy Footbridge will significantly improve walkability by providing a covered connection that seamlessly links Amoy Plaza, the East Kowloon Cultural Centre, and the MTR Kowloon Bay Station.

For 50 years, we have grown alongside the community, contributing to the development of a vibrant community in Kowloon East. Since 1976, we collaborated with MTR Corporation Limited and Hopewell Holdings Limited on a large-scale residential project — Telford Gardens (德福花園). In 1977, Hang Lung began the development of Amoy Gardens (淘大花園) and Amoy Plaza (淘大商場), which set the benchmark for mixed-use development. Our latest project in Kowloon Bay, THE APERTURE (皓日), represents a new chapter in our commitment to excellence for home living in the East Kowloon. This new footbridge energizes the district by fostering community interaction, integrating work, residential life, recreation, and cultural events to promote sustainable urban growth.

Thank you to the Energizing Kowloon East Office (EKEO), the Transport Department, and our dedicated Hang Lung Design & Development, Property Management Services and Hong Kong Business Operation teams for being part of this key milestone.
