Inspiring the Next Generation of Sustainability Leaders

News | Jul 10, 2025

Aligning with our commitment to community investment and youth development, Hang Lung proudly supports the HKSAR Government’s Strive and Rise Programme (共創明「Teen」計劃) for the third consecutive year to empower the next generation of leaders to thrive. Through immersive experiences at our properties, we’ve created opportunities for young students to explore how sustainability is embedded in our operations—from biodiversity conservation to workplace wellbeing.

We partnered with Outdoor Wildlife Learning Hong Kong (OWLHK) to extend the learning journey into nature, sparking curiosity and awareness about Hong Kong’s rich ecosystems. The youths also explored our newly launched Native Flora Garden at Peak Galleria—a living showcase of biodiversity that celebrates the indigenous flora, supports local habitats, and demonstrates how nurturing native species contributes to a thriving and balanced natural environment.

Earlier in the program, our management trainees took the lead in guiding another group of students through our rejuvenated office space at Gala Place, where recycled materials and wellness-focused design set a fresh standard for sustainability. It inspired the young people, encouraging them to think about how everyday choices—big and small—can shape a greener, more innovative future.

These engagements go beyond education—they motivate youths to play an active role in building a sustainable future and a better tomorrow.
