As we enter 2026, we at Hang Lung Properties are proud to continue our enduring partnership with Tsinghua University through the Hang Lung Center for Real Estate. Now in its 16th year, this collaboration marries Hang Lung’s deep industry experience with Tsinghua’s respected academic strength—fostering innovation and advancing sustainable development across the Chinese Mainland’s real estate sector. 

Over the years, the Center has established itself as a trusted source of high-quality research in sustainability, proptech innovations, and talent cultivation. It has hosted landmark events—including over 90 Hang Lung Real Estate Seminars—convening professionals, industry experts and scholars—and produced over 500 published papers in leading journals. Most recently, the Center also held the 2025 Sustainability in Real Estate Conference and Annual Research Results Announcement, which featured the release of 9 industry-leading research papers covering topics including new building materials and prop tech application. These efforts transform forward-looking ideas into practical insights and support the sector’s evolution toward greener, more resilient urban futures. 

The partnership with Tsinghua University also strengthens Hang Lung’s sustainability journey by translating research into action by using our projects as case studies. Above all, it underscores our commitment to working with like-minded partners to accelerate progress towards a net-zero future.
