Building Impact, From Our Workplace to the Communities We Serve and Beyond

At Hang Lung, “We Do It Well” means creating lasting value for the communities we serve — not only through what we build, but through the opportunities we create.

This International Women’s Day 2026, under the theme #GiveToGain, we turned celebration into action — championing initiatives that work alongside the communities we are part of as we mark 66 years and beyond.

In Hong Kong, we brought this commitment to life through two meaningful initiatives. We partnered with Kee Wah Private Kitchen Ginger Vinegar, a social enterprise employing female caregivers and retirees. By sourcing their handcrafted gifts, we supported individuals whose contributions often go unseen — while giving colleagues a thoughtful way to honor the mothers, partners, and mentors who shape their lives.

We also hosted an IWD Bazaar during Friday Cheers, welcoming community-focused social enterprises to share their products and stories — transforming everyday purchases into purposeful acts of empowerment.

Across mainland China, our teams built on this momentum. In Shanghai, we partnered with AILEYI to support skills development and foster professional growth within the community.

In Jinan, we partnered with the Jinan Folk Literature and Art Association to support artisans preserving cultural heritage while building sustainable livelihoods — different cities, united by a shared purpose.

Going beyond isn’t just about how far we’ve come — it’s about how we continue to create opportunities for others to thrive, strengthen communities, and build a more inclusive future, together.
