Hang Lung supported the inaugural Hong Kong Comic Con by leading 40 emerging artists on an exclusive, curated tour with direct access to industry professionals. 

With Hang Lung As One Volunteers, 40 students from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) and HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity (HKSC) engaged closely with master IP creators, gaining insight into how original ideas evolve into commercially and culturally impactful works. 

A key highlight was their session with the Golden Horse Award–winning team behind Hong Kong’s “Another World” (《世外》). Art Director Step Cheung, Lead Layout Artist Fung Chin Pang and Background Artist Nou Tang shared their creative philosophy of blending Asian perspectives with fully hand-drawn artistry–championing creativity without AI. 

The group also explored Artist Alley, meeting global and local talents including Malaysian comic artist Tan Eng Huat (DC, Marvel) and Hong Kong’s Man Tsang, the first local artist to contribute to Star Wars. 

Through these direct exchanges, Hang Lung remains committed to inspiring and empowering the next generation of creative talent–strengthening cultural connections and supporting Hong Kong’s creative future.
