As Hang Lung marks its 66th anniversary, Plaza 66—one of our flagship projects in Chinese Mainland—celebrates 25 years anniversary. To commemorate this silver jubilee, Plaza 66 presents “Happy Birthday 2U2”, an exhibition inviting the city and its community to share in a collective moment of appreciation.  

Originated in Hong Kong and makes its Mainland debut in a commercial space, “Happy Birthday 2U2” draws inspiration from the artist’s family tradition of exchanging hand-drawn birthday cards. Through 366 dedicated “birthday mailboxes”, heartfelt wishes are shared and passed, with every interaction translated into charitable contributions supporting art education for children with autism via the UCCA Foundation.  

Over the past 25 years, Plaza 66 has continually redefined its role - from a retail benchmark into an experience-driven lifestyle destination and adapted to changing consumer expectations through its evolving brand mix, upgraded spaces, and curated cultural programming.  

This evolution reflects broader commitment. Looking ahead, Hang Lung remains focused on creating compelling spaces that enrich lives.
