Supporting the 15th Five‑Year Plan: Celebrating the Opening of HKATA

News | Jun 24, 2026

With the 15th Five-Year Plan advancing national aerospace ambitions — and Hong Kong’s first homegrown payload specialist selected for Shenzhou 23 — space exploration feels closer than ever for our city.

Against this backdrop, we are proud to celebrate the official opening of the Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Academy (HKATA) — a meaningful milestone in advancing aerospace education and nurturing future talent in Hong Kong.

Located at 228 Electric Road, North Point, the 6,000 sq. ft. Space Base offers hands-on programs in aerospace AI, satellite applications, and visits to national launch sites — bridging classroom learning with real-world innovation and opening new horizons for the next generation.

We are delighted that our General Manager – Retail and Marketing, Hong Kong Business Operation, Eric Lui, served as Guest of Honor at the ceremony, supporting a vision that connects youth, education, and innovation.

At Hang Lung, we believe strong communities are built by investing in young people and the platforms that shape their aspirations. We look forward to seeing this initiative grow and the opportunities it will create for generations to come.
